5 Year Guarantee

At Compac Furniture we believe in the quality of our products. That’s why every item we make is covered by our 5 Year Guarantee. To receive the full benefits of this guarantee we recommend that to complete our warrantee registration form for every product you purchase. You can log in whenever you purchase another Compac Furniture product and add them to your list.

Registering your product means that you will not need to provide additional proof of purchase to us when making a claim. (You may still need to keep your docket for the retailer.) You will also be eligible to receive exclusive offers and notification emails when other Compac products are on sale.

To Assure your Guarantee

All our furniture carries a 5 year guarantee against defective materials and workmanship. To ensure that your cabinet remains in top condition, please take note of the following:

Avoid direct sunlight wherever possible.
Keep the cabinet in a dry place.
Wipe off spilt liquids immediately. Especially nail polish removers and other cosmetics or solvents.
Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface.
Clean with a soft cloth and a mild polish

As you will understand there are some things we cannot cover including:

Damage through normal wear and tear.
Damage from spilt liquids.
Exposure to weather, or storage in damp conditions.
Damage due to misuse. (Contrary to popular opinion, furniture is not designed to be used as a ladder.)
Compac Furniture takes no responsibility for damage caused by misuse, incorrect loading, tipping of cabinet or opening of multiple drawers

If you purchased a kitset cabinet we cannot cover the assembly process as it is you putting it together and not us. We do however guarantee that your cabinet will go together if you follow the instructions! If you have any problems assembling you cabinet please click here.

Making a Claim

Fully built up Furniture:

If you purchased you furniture fully assembled from a retail shop, all claims must be made through the retailer. You will need to provide proof of purchase. It will help if you provide the retailer with the registration number you received when you completed the warrantee registration form. Compac Furniture at its discretion will either sent parts to the retailer or collect the cabinet for repairs. Compac Furniture cannot collect furniture from private addresses and you will need to return the cabinet to the shop you purchased it from in this case.

Kitset or Flatpack Furniture:

If you purchased a flatpack or kitset item please fill in a parts ordering form or phone our customer service Team on 0800 100 858. Compac Furniture at its discretion will courier replacement parts to anywhere in the North & South Island free of change. If you cabinet is not covered by the guarantee parts may still be available but there may be a cost involved.
